Speech disorders, behavioural disorders, performance anxiety, hyperactivity, etc. - children with a variety of symptoms and their parents come to Eszter Kuncz who also uses her diagnostic and differential diagnostic experience in the examination of childhood ADHD at Panoráma Polyclinic.
She completed her studies of special needs education at the Bárczi Gusztáv College of Special Needs Education Teacher Training, majoring in speech therapy and oligophrenic pedagogy, then she obtained a degree in psychology at the ELTE University, Faculty of Psychology. In 2004-2006, she qualified as consultant psychologist at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of ELTE. She supplemented her knowledge with several method-specific trainings: Ayres Sensory Integration Training Course (DSZIT), ’Basic Principles of Mediation Conflict Management Procedure and Mediation Practice and Techniques’, Sindelar-Zsoldos Programme 1-2.
As a psychologist, she worked in an educational consultant service (today it is called: pedagogical special service) and at the National Pedagogical Specialist Service of ELTE, where she carried out diagnostic and differential diagnostic work in various fields, mostly in teams in cooperation with psychologist and psychiatrist colleagues. She has utilized her cognitive psychology expertise in the translation and Hungarian standardization of the Wechsler-type tests (WPPSI-IV, WISC-IV, WAIS-IV) and has been involved in the training of test users for more than ten years.
At Panoráma Polyclinic, she provides consultation and counselling for children and their parents in a variety of areas and participates in the work of the ADHD team assessing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children over 4 years old. ADHD-team munkájában.
