Dr Anikó Somogyi, psychiatrist, is involved in the process of diagnosing adult ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) at Panoráma Polyclinic.
She graduated from the University of Medicine of Pécs in 2001 and she also started her psychiatric practice at the university's Psychiatric Clinic, where she worked until 2006. Afterwards, she continued her work at the Psychiatry Department of Szent István and later Szent János Hospitals in Budapest, and in 2006 she began her training as a cognitive and behavioural psychotherapist at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of Semmelweis University, at the Hungarian Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies.
In 2008, she passed her psychiatric specialist examination at the Semmelweis University with excellent results. Then she worked at the Medicover’s Eiffel Clinic and the Psychiatry Department of Dr Kenessey Albert Hospital, where she was involved in clinical drug trials as an examining physician in addition to hospital inpatient and outpatient care. Later on, her interest turned to different neurodevelopmental conditions; since then, she has been involved in adult ADHD assessment and personalised support for her clients at the Panoráma Polyclinic, in addition to the ADHD outpatient clinic at Dr Kenessey Albert Hospital.
