How does the addiction specialist help?

The main components of addiction care at our clinic are:

• Diagnosis. Assessment of the patient's condition, determination of the type of addiction (e.g. alcohol, drug, gambling addiction).
• Treatment plan. Based on the diagnosis, an individual treatment plan is drawn up, considering the patient's condition, living conditions and needs.
• Counselling and support. It is important that the patient and their family members understand the nature of the addiction and learn to live with it.
• Drug treatment. If necessary, medication is prescribed to reduce or eliminate physical dependence.
• Follow-up. Follow-up examinations are provided to ensure successful rehabilitation and to prevent the patient from relapse.
