Our perinatal psychiatry consultation is also unique in the field of diagnosis, treatment and care of mental health problems occurring in the perinatal period, as our patients are supported by a psychiatrist who is usually rarely active in this field.

Quality assurance of the profession

We place great emphasis on providing high-quality professional care in our practices. As an important part of this, members of the psychological/psychotherapeutic/psychiatric team carry out their therapeutic activities under regular supervision. The external supervision in the specialised areas is provided by professionally recognised, training therapists. The supervisors of Panoráma Polyclinic are Dr Katalin Barát, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, family therapist in training and Ágnes Hódi, child and adult psychoanalyst in training, psychoanalyst in training, supervisor.

Our clinic has a valid NNK – National Public Health Centre (ÁNTSZ) licence.

About the psychosomatic practice

The approach of our polyclinic can also be described as psychosomatic, which means that we focus on both the physical and mental processes; we strive to heal body and soul together. Therefore, in addition to psychiatry and psychotherapy consultations, a significant number of our colleagues also specialise in other medical specialities (e.g. endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology, radiology, etc.)

Illnesses are associated with serious psychological stress, often underlying physical complaints are mental crises, anxiety, depression, but also somatic illnesses can cause what appear to be psychological disturbances. An important element of the developed operating model is the cooperation and regular consultation of specialists in somatic medicine and experts in the treatment of mental health problems.

The professional team of Panoráma Polyclinic started working together half a decade ago under the name of Panoráma Medical Centre - since then we have been connected to the professional community by organising internal further training courses, conferences and participating in conferences.
